Mini Pop Kids represent a thriving tradition of celebrating and entertaining kids with a family-friendly style that was first conceived of way back in the ’80s but hasn’t lost a bit of its positive energy.
And soon, they’ll be bringing that energetic entertainment to Victoria.
The Mini Pop Kids Good Vibes Tour is coming to the Royal Theatre on March 22 as part of a swing through Canada that also includes appearances in Nanaimo on March 23 and Vancouver on March 24.
The Mini Pop Kids, aged 10 to 14, come to the group from all over Canada and, although the makeup of the group necessarily changes over time, they never lose sight of their goal – family-friendly pop music fun.
The show offers the Top 40-type hits of today, but the show’s producers ensure that they are presented with family-friendly lyrics.
The resulting concert is a jam-packed evening of songs by Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Dua Lipa and more. There are even some throw-back favourites that are sure to have kids on their feet, dancing, laughing, and singing along.
Based on past concerts, there’s a good chance that some of the adults are likely to join in.
Beyond getting kids (and adults) on their feet and smiling, the tour is in support of the recently released Mini Pop Kids 19 album, released just last month.
