Letter – Review the justification

Brian Kieran does not explain Bill Vander Zalm’s reason for introducing the MLA recall process, given that he should have wanted to avoid use of it by the Reform activists Kieran refers to.

Review the justification

Brian Kieran does not explain Bill Vander Zalm’s reason for introducing the MLA recall process, given that he should have wanted to avoid use of it by the Reform activists Kieran refers to. I know Vander Zalm is erratic, as is Kieran, but an explanation is needed.

Kieran does not explain what processes are available to turf a problem MLA without waiting years for the next election, short of the slow wheels of justice if a crime is involved. If the recall process has supported politicking instead of its intended purpose, then review the justification of it, then either dump it or fix it.
