Passed away peacefully at Cowichan District Hospital on February 9, 2008. Born on November 22, 1923 in Manitoba. Lovingly remembered by son Einar (Linda); grandchildren Wayne (Allana), Mitch (Christy), Luke (Amanda), and Derek; great-grandchildren Meagan, Brandon, Michael, Ben, Hailey, William, and Oliver; sisters Sophie, and Anne; and close friend Rita. Rose was a longtime resident of Cowichan Bay and worked at Queen Margaret's School for many years. A memorial service will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, 187 Trunk Road, Duncan, BC on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. Reception will follow in Sands Arbor Reception Centre.
