Visit the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria (AGGV) at 1040 Moss Street during the holiday season to make a special gift, celebrate and support local artists, find the perfect gift in the Gallery Shop, or give the gift of membership.

Explore gift-giving through making and sign up for Walking in the Steps of Your Ancestors, a moccasin-making workshop at the gallery with Mohawk artist Lindsay Delaronde. This three-day workshop will take place on December 8 and 15 from 6 to 8:30 pm and December 17 from 9 to 5 pm. Lunch is included on the last day. The price for the workshop series is $180 (with a $10 discount for members). Limited spaces available.

The AGGV’s annual Winter Small Works Show and Sale gots underway on November 17 in the Massey Sales Gallery, with an opening reception from 5 to 8 pm, where visitors had a first look at the works and chance to mingle with the artists. The show features a diverse range of original fine art from 70 local artists, for your own home or for a special gift. The Winter Small Works Show and Sale runs until January 21, 2023.
