Fundraiser for Child Haven International transforms Atrium building into Bollywood wonderland
Saffron and Singing Bowls fundraiser is collecting money for Child Haven International

The Atrium building downtown is being transformed for the first-annual Saffron and Singing Bowls fundraiser, Sunday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m., featuring traditional and Bollywood dancers, music, fashion, a silent auction and platters of Indian and non-Indian appetizers. The evening is being hosted by Vicky Gabereau.

The event will raise funds for Child Haven International, which operates nine homes for over 1,250 destitute children and women in India, Nepal, Tibet and Bangladesh. Tickets are $30 (adults) and $20 (students), available at Munro’s Books in Victoria, Timeless Toys in Oak Bay or Tanner’s Books in Sidney. M
