Saanich Peninsula Community Writing Contest deadline

Residents of Central Saanich, North Saanich and Sidney may submit their unpublished writing in three categories.

SIDNEY — The Sidney North Saanich Library Writers Group is excited to host the third annual Saanich Peninsula Community Writing Contest.

Residents of Central Saanich, North Saanich and Sidney may submit their unpublished writing in three categories: poetry, fiction, and non-fiction.

A total of six prizes, two for each category, will be awarded. Tanner’s Books is generously providing $100 first place and $50 honourable mention gift certificate prizes for each category.

Full contest details are available at www.virl.bc.ca and entries must be submitted no later than April 30.
