Left Coast Jazz Fest offers four-show package deal, extends discount for TD JazzFest ticket holders

In the spirit of co-operation and presenting more local jazz to the music-loving public, organizers of the Left Coast Jazz Fest are offering special pricing for their events.

Not only does the Copper Owl Pass 2019 allow attendees to see all four shows in the Left Coast series, June 27 to 30 at that venue for $40, ticket holders for Victoria Jazz Society concerts that are part of the TD Victoria International JazzFest can purchase tickets for Copper Owl events day of show at a discounted rate.

The Left Coast Jazz Fest features an all-Island lineup, with The New Cool kicking things off June 27 at 4 p.m., followed the next afternoon at 4 by the Monik Nordine Trio. The Jon Miller Quartet hits the stage Saturday, June 29 at 4 p.m., then Nanaimo-based jazz guitarist Astrid Lyre hosts a jam session Sunday at the Owl starting at 2 p.m. She’ll be joined by Sherry Clayton on drums, Ken Williams on bass and Nordine on sax for the initial part of the show.
