Craft breweries of the Comox Valley are offering a series of live concerts, coming straight to your living room.
The “Wish You Were Beer Comox Valley Craft Brewery Virtual Happy Hour” series has been initiated to keep spirits up and show support for local producers.
Five local breweries - Ace Brewing Company, Land and Sea Brewing Company, Gladstone Brewing Company, New Tradition Brewing Company, and Church St. Taphouse - as well as Cascadia Liquor, will each host a weekend concert this month.
The series began Friday, May 1 with Helen Austin performing live from Land and Sea.
Last Saturday, Luke Blu Guthrie played at Ace Brewing.
The series continues Friday, May 8 with Elise LeBlanc at the Church Street Taphouse, and Easy Street will play Saturday at Gladstone.
May 15 will see The Looprechaun at New Tradition, and the series wraps up with Juno Award winner, Sue Medley, performing a virtual concert at Cascadia Liquor.
All concerts run from 5-7 p.m.
Check out the Wish You Were Beer Comox Valley Craft Brewery Virtual Happy Hour Facebook page for more info, or pick up a passcode when you shop at any of the participating breweries.
