RECAP: Crowds roll out for four-day festival

From the arrival ceremony that kicked things off last week to the massive show-and-shine style event that attracted thousands of onlookers to the Inner Harbour on Sunday, Northwest Deuce Days created quite a stir around the region.

The four-day festival – which takes place every three years – highlights classic hot rods, with a special emphasis on two-door Fords built in 1932, known affectionately as deuce coupes.

The owners of nearly 1,400 classic cars gathered to participate in various events that took them around the region, including the popular Poker Run and vehicle parade in Langford on Saturday.

The fun finished on Sunday with hot rods and restored vintage vehicles on display along Government Street near the harbour, a spectacle that attracted crowds of all ages.
