Tour, taste, eat, learn. And have fun.
At Merridale Cider, everything starts in the orchard at the Cobble Hill farm.
If you’re curious about how things work here, you can take a self-guided tour of the cellar and orchard during the summer months, with no reservation needed.
There’s a variety of food options available, including casual comfort food and British pub-style counter service at the onsite eatery. The popular Sunday pizza night offers house made brick oven pies from the orchard cookhouse until Sept. 23, and a fresh lineup of local live entertainment from 6-8:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
Also a hit with visitors are Merridale’s Red Wagon Picnics, a fully stocked lunch available for groups of 10 people or more between May and September. A large tent in the orchard offers shade from the heat and protection from the rain, making it the perfect location for those seeking privacy.
For the full experience, a private guided tour can be added to the Picnic mix. Contact the cidery through their website at merridale.ca or by phone at 1-800-998-9908.
