Pot should never be made legal

The “time to legalize pot” is never, and for these reasons: biology dictates that only cool, clean, fresh air is to go into lungs. Marijuana is self-pollution; marijuana is a carcinogen; marijuana is used to avoid feeling what needs to be felt, to avoid saying what needs to be said, to avoid doing what needs to be done. Marijuana is self-repression. The maxim is: change your life, not your brain chemistry. For chronic, non-emotional, non-psychologically induced pain, learn from those monks who sat stoicly after setting themselves on fire in political protest. While I would cease charging people for possession, I would continue to allow police or anyone to destroy marijuana plants anywhere.
