Cute kid, poor words

When I was little and as cute as the little ‘Oliver’ boy on the cover of your magazine, I was never made to carry a sign into a crowd, let alone understand it. “May I have some more please? Let them eat cake.” Yes, I understand those words, but these new poor-rich words, I’m duh.
