Canucks need new name
Perhaps the reason for the collapse of the Vancouver hockey team lies in the fact that the team name is politically incorrect. Canuck, as defined by the Random House College Dictionary, is an offensive term to describe a Canadian, especially a French Canadian. In essence it’s a slur or pejorative. Change the team name and possibly change the fortunes of the NHL team.
