It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to my Husband, Father, Grandfather "Papa" and Uncle.
Dave passed away peaceful on September 20, 2017 at Victoria General Hospital.
He was a very strong man who fought a hard battle.
David was born October 15, 1937 in Victoria, BC. He lived in Happy Valley all of this life. This is where he grew up, raised his family and played on his hobby farm, which he loved dearly.
Dave's working career was at Yarrow Ship Yard Ltd. He enjoyed working at the Yard with all of his co-workers.
We are eternally grateful for his love, encouragement, support, laughter, his charming smile, wisdom, many pranks and for all he has done for his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Gay; son Dave (Julie), son Vince and daughter Margo (Kevin) and 6 grandchildren; Leah, Ryan, Erika, Aaron, Marlaine and Rachael.
We love you more than words can say Dad.
We will never forget those Red Tractor Rides.
As per Dave's request there will be no reception held but his family thanks you all for being his friend.
