Roy A. Tennant. Born October 17, 1920, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2017, surrounded by family.
Predeceased by his first wife Agnes and daughter Margaret. Survived by his wife Krystyna, son Bill, daughters Linda (Dennis), Shelley (Marty), Dot (Ev), stepsons Marek (Lucile) and Tomasz (Mitchel), eight Grandchildren, nine Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
Roy served during WWII with the Seaforth Highlanders from 1942-1945. He owned two successful businesses - Roy's Home Service and Sooke Towing.
He was a member of the Legion, The Buffaloes (R.A.O.B) and President of the 50 and up-club.
He also enjoyed fishing, traveling, curling and his family.
A celebration of life will be held November 4, 2017, at 12:30 pm at Sands Funeral Chapel, 317 Goldstream Ave, Colwood, BC.
Reception to follow at 3:00 pm at the Legion (#91), 761 Station Ave, Langford, BC.
