ROGER HOLLICK
Roger passed away peacefully on August 27 with his family at his side.
He is survived and deeply missed by daughters Eden and Erin (Norm) and adored grandchidren Thomas and Ella.
Throughout his frustrating battle with dementia he maintained his determination, humour and kindness. He cared deeply for those around him and went out of his way to help others. He loved dogs, golf and sharing good food and wine with friends.
Our family is very grateful for the kind and respectful care he received at Rest Haven Lodge. The staff and volunteers at the Palliative care ward at Saanich Peninsula Hospital were a true gift. They created a peaceful space for us and filled it with love and compassion.
We will be honouring Roger on his birthday, Sept. 23, from 4-7 at Joan and Gary's place, 1569 Edgemont Road. All are welcome.
