It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Frank Brown on June 8th, 2019 in Victoria, BC. After a long battle against cancer he went peacefully, with no regrets, in the company of those who loved him.

Paul was born in Vancouver and lived in cities across all of Canada. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy as a young adult, rising to the rank of Petty Officer. He proudly served for many years and chose to retire in Victoria.

He had many interests, and his generous nature caused him to share his happiness and enthusiasm with all those around him. He loved surprises and jokes, naval and air force history, fantasy and science fiction, bagpipe marching music, woodworking, painting and most of all, cooking.

He is survived by many family members including his son David (Mariska), his daughters Sabrina (Joshua), Gina (Blue) and Jennifer (Oliver), and his grandchildren Matthew, Amelia, Evelyn, Abigail, Jareth and Joseph, who still calls his grandpa his "best man".

The family would like to thank all of the public health services and amazing staff members that helped Paul through the years, including Clinic 4 at Royal Jubilee Hospital, the BC Cancer Clinic, and Victoria Hospice. The help was always deeply appreciated.

Please join us at a Celebration of Life on July 6th, at 1 pm at the Langford Royal Canadian Legion, 761 Station Avenue.
