Slipped away after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Mary was a teacher in her early years in Quebec and for many years in Saanich. Left to mourn is her sister Joan of Calgary, her longtime friend Kenn, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends at St. Mary's and St. Stephen's Churches.
A memorial service will be held at St. Mary's Church, Saanichton, on Wednesday, August 17th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Mary to St. Mary's Church, Mount Newton Centre Society or the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation.
