September 13, 1928 to October 8, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucy Franklin. She passed away peacefully early Saturday morning on October 8. Lucy is predeceased by husband Robert (Bob), brother George and sister Dorothy. She is survived by daughter Mary, sister Marion, several nieces, nephews and dear friends including Warren, Lindsay, Emily and Benjamin. Lucy was a resident of Sidney for the past 32 years after leaving Prince Rupert. She will be fondly remembered for her home baked fabulous cookies and donuts. She also knitted and crocheted many blankets, slippers and baby outfits for gifts and charity groups. She was a generous and gentle person. In keeping with her wishes, a service will be held on October 29, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. Paul’s United Church, 2410 Malaview Ave, Sidney BC.
