With deepest sadness, we regret to advise that Lilly passed away peacefully at Victoria General Hospital with her family by her side.
Lilly was born the eldest of five girls in Thunderbay ON. She married Andrew Belluz and had six children of her own. She then moved to Victoria, BC in 1968 where she met Jack White and helped to raise her three step-sons.
Lilly worked as the Supervisor of the Canteen at Naden Naval Base and as a housekeeper at the Gorge Road Hospital until she retired.
Lilly was predeceased by her parents Frank and Lempi Rahmer; her first husband Andrew Belluz; her common law husband Jack White; sisters Dorothy Boehler and Lenore Hill and her two daughters in law Brenda Belluz and Gaetane Belluz.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Shirley Belluz, Sharon Belluz, Brenda Olsen and Beverly Belluz, and her sons Larry Belluz and Dennis Belluz as well as her step sons, Leonard White (Patti), Gordon White and David White.
Fondly remembered by her surviving sisters, Beanie Hughes and Ruth Gammond both of Thunderbay, ON and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
We will miss her sense of humour, warmth and wisdom. Thanks to the staff at Beacon Home Care Services and Victoria General Hospital for their care and support.
A memorial service will be held on Lilly’s birthday at Sands Funeral Chapel, Colwood at 11:30 am, Friday, January 12, 2018. Interment to follow at Hatley Memorial Gardens.
