In Loving Memory ~
Born in London, England in 1928, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2023, in the company of her loving family.
Betty met the love of her life at a pub in London, England, while Betty was a WAAC and Jim was a seaman in the Canadian Navy. They married a couple of months later and subsequently moved to Nova Scotia where they had six children.
In 1963 they moved and settled in Sidney, BC. Betty worked for many years for BMO. She was an exceptional sewer and machine quilter as well as an avid knitter. Numerous babies born in Victoria and the homeless were the recipients of her lovingly knitted hats.
After retirement, Betty and Jim were long-time members of CNAG.
Betty is predeceased by her husband Jim and son-in-law Lanny.
She is survived by her children Patricia (Doug), Brenda (Steve), Christine (Rick), James (Danna), Janet, and Cathy (John) as well as many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
A family and friends celebration will be held at a later date.
Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to Saanich Peninsula Hospital.
