James Hunter Waistell (Jim) born in 1937 passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on Remembrance Day November 11, 2017.
Jim was an Air Force Veteran and long standing member of the Army, Navy & Air Force Unit #302 in Sidney, BC.
He is survived by his Brothers George and Bill (Vivian), Sisters Mona and Elaine, Daughter Karen (Les) and GrandDaughter Sabrina, also Nieces and Nephews, like daughters Julie and Lisa.
Jim was a great man who spent his early years all over the world with the Canadian Air Force, later worked for the Coast Guard on the icebreakers as a Deep Sea Diver and then Retired from BC Ferries after 33 years of service as an Engineer.
He loved going Camping and winters in Mexico.
As per Jim's request there will be no memorial service but please have a beer for him and share your memories. Cheers to a beautiful Soul.
