Gerry Gregg, 94, of Sidney BC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2018.

Gerry is survived by her son Dave (Pam), daughter Cathy (Jon), four grandchildren Jeff (Teresa), Stacey (Chris), Erin (Drew), and Nathan, four great-grandchildren, and her brother Bruce (Gail).

Gerry was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many; her family and church family were important keystones of her life.

The eldest of four siblings, Gerry was born in Pembroke, Ontario, and attended the University of Toronto, studying Occupational Therapy. When the family moved to Medicine Hat, Gerry met her life-long partner, Bob, at a Boy Scout leadership seminar. Together, they enjoyed a marriage of 63 years. During her career, Gerry worked at the Suffield Experimental Station, the Fort Churchill Inuit School, and later became the first registrar of Keyano College in Fort McMurray and a provincial St. John Ambulance trainer.

Gerry and Bob retired to Vancouver Island from Ft. McMurray in 1985 and continued their active involvement with the Eastern Star and the St. Andrew's church community in Sidney.

Gerry's family would like to thank Dr. G. Wray and all the staff of Sidney All Care for their loving care and support of Gerry during her final days. You are special people.

There will be a celebration of Gerry Gregg's life at 1:30 pm on January 18, 2019, at St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Sidney BC. In lieu of memorial donations, please look for those less fortunate in your community and pay a good deed forward.
