1941-2009
Fred "The Beacon Barber" left us on August 9 after a brief battle with brain cancer. He was a very proud pioneer of the Peninsula, a lover of life and generous to all with his unforgettable smile. His life long career as a barber was the perfect profession for his sunny personality, leading to many life long friends. Fred is survived by his loving wife Linda, four children (Wayne, Cindy, Cathi and Cherie), two brothers (Robert and Ken), many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
Fred will be sadly missed by all.
