Born in Bedford, England the second child of Maurice and Frances Willson.

Anne had a long and varied career in nursing beginning with training in London during the Blitz, interrupted by motherhood, and ending as a Deputy

Coroner in Prince George. Along the way she was honoured to become one of the first Nurse Practitioners in BC. She was also known as a devoted mother and grandmother, a loyal friend, a committed volunteer and a concerned citizen.

Anne was predeceased by her brother Michael in 1939 and her husband Neil in 2010. She is survived by children James (Anne), Sarah, Piers (Robynn) and Thomas, grandchildren Alyson (Jason), Hayden, Owen, Jacob, Harrison, Gabrielle and Simon and by great-grandson William.

A green burial and graveside service has been held in Royal Oak.

There will be an informal gathering of people who are grateful for the pleasure and the privilege of having known Anne Wylie.
