We All Have a Past
Between 1994 and 1996, you said goodbye to what was no longer relevant in your life. Some gave up jobs. Some gave up relationships. Some gave up homes. Some even gave up countries. Fortunately, you had a strong urge to explore; and by 1996, you began to reinvent yourself, a journey that took until 2003. By 2006, casual romance turned serious. We All Have a Past
The early 90’s were strong. Something made you glow with pride. Around 1992, you made gains in real estate or moved into bigger or better digs. Perhaps your family expanded through marriage, birth or adoption? By the mid-90s, you improved your job; and by 1994-95, partnerships were rewarding. (That was an excellent time to get married.) We All Have a Past
Around 2001, partnerships were tough and challenging; and you started off on a new journey. By 2005-06, residential moves and job changes were important; and by 2007-08, you were a new person! (Just look at your life in 2008 and compare it to the year 2000 to see the difference.) Likewise, the hospitality industry can mean anything from a B&B in your home to the Bellagio in Las Vegas. The sports world can be anything from the Olympics to junior soccer in your neighbourhood. We All Have a Past
Around the year 1999, you achieved something that mattered to you. Therefore, you might have been surprised when you had to downsize and let go of things during 2003-06. We All Have a Past
Around 2001, you made a great impression on others, especially bosses, parents and VIPs because you entered a three-year window that was a time of harvest. So there is always that to think about in the coming year. Aside from your increased confidence due to your financial situation, something even bigger is at play when it comes to your relationships with partners this year; and it is the fact that you now know who you are. Major! It’s taken since around 2007 until now to figure this out. And don’t worry, if you’re not sure who you are – you are sure who you are not. This means at this stage in your life, you are more serious about commitment, family and partnerships than you were in previous years. Therefore, you will be less interested in playing the field and having dalliances. What you want now is a serious relationship because you want to put down roots. If you’re in a relationship that is not going anywhere – quit kidding yourself. Don’t try to save something that isn’t worth saving. Cut your losses as soon as you realize that they are losses. Be smart.

Home and family relationships are important this year. If we look at a major 30-year cycle in your life, we see that from 1994 to 2001, you gained strength and success. Around 2005-2008, you gave up a lot to begin a new journey in 2008. Now, during 2015 to 2017, your primary objective is to solidify your home base. You have to make your home your refuge. If you already have a home that you like, work to improve it. If you rent, you might move yet again to find someplace that feels just right. That’s because from 2015-2017, it’s important to establish a secure base for yourself. Likewise, relations with family members will undergo important changes because you want to redefine these relationships as well (especially with respect to boundaries and who is in charge and who is responsible for what). So these are the important things you have to work out and establish – probably more important than in any time in your life except for 30 years ago during 1986-1988.

A subtle shift will occur for you in 2018.
