The Federation of Canadian Artists is proud to present artwork by local island artists, selected by jury for its Fresh Start exhibition.
Visit Fortune Gallery in Victoria’s historic Chinatown to view the work of accomplished south island artists from Victoria and Sooke to Mill Bay and the Gulf Islands. The exhibit highlights the ways in which these artists capture the spirit of a new season in their art.
Viewing is open to the public from June 21 to July 2, and artwork in the show is available for purchase. At the same time, people can also visit the show as an online exhibition at victoriafca.ca.
Fortune Gallery is located at 537 Fisgard Street; hours are Tuesday to Sunday, noon to 5 pm.
An opening night reception for Fresh Start takes place June 21, from 6:30 to 8 pm.
The Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and professional development of artists, and services for art collectors. The Victoria chapter offers educational programs and workshops designed to raise artistic standards by stimulating members to greater heights of achievement.
