Jazz accordionist, Frank Marocco will be performing at the Victoria Accordion Festival, beginning July 14.

 

The Victoria Accordion Festival is a three-day event jampacked with competition for all ages (with $10,000 in prize money), workshops and concerts from world-renowned players.

The festival kicks off Thursday, July 14 with A Night of the Orchestras, featuring the BC Accordion Orchestra (Victoria), the Jarosh Accordion Ensemble (Calgary) among others. A dinner and dance will be held Friday at the Comfort Hotel and Conference Centre with music by the Bonnie Birch Trio. Saturday features Frank Marocco and Jelena Milojevic at St Andrew’s Church.
