All Signs: Well, we’ve made it through the first week; so far so good.

All Signs: Well, we’ve made it through the first week; so far so good. Personally, I can’t recall beginning a New Year with such a desire to “turn over a new leaf.” I am totally gung-ho to improve my life! I have even typed out a little check list of daily things. (God’s truth.) I think it’s due to the unusual journey of Mars in Virgo we’ve been experiencing for weeks and weeks and weeks. (And it lasts until July!) Ah yes, Virgo is all about health, wellness and self-denial. And Mars is, “Make it happen!” I know I’m not alone. Others feel the same determination to pull their act together. Many have decided to eat better, get more exercise, meditate and quit shooting up. Clap your hands if you believe in fairies!

Aquarius Jan 21 – Feb 19

It’s so easy to be oh-so-charming this week, isn’t it? You’re happy with life and you feel enriched by whatever is happening at home or within your family. Your ideals are aroused but they’re not off the wall. In fact, discussions with someone from another country or a different background are solid. A teacher or guru figure might enter your life. Perhaps your good fortune causes you to ponder profundity and entertain concepts that are philosophical, religious or worldly. Publishing, higher education, the media, medicine and the law are good avenues to explore now. Lucky you! Right now fair Venus is in your sign dancing beautifully with the other planets. This makes you charming, smooth, diplomatic, attractive and able to suck up so well.

Pisces Feb 20 – Mar 20

This continues to be a popular time for you. This also continues to be a challenging time with respect to friends and partners because, of course, Mars is still there opposite your sign. The up side of this is that you are more inclined to demand your fair share and speak your mind if you’re unhappy. This week in particular, your sense of altruism is strong. You’re prepared to make sacrifices or put the needs and wants of others before your own because this is in accord with your ideals. The result will be that you will feel gratified and rewarded by your decisions. It always works that way. A rich person is not the one who has the most, but the one who needs the least. (Yeah, yeah — but it’s still nice to shop.)

Aries Mar 21 – Apr 20

Without question, you are busting thy buns at work or on your own private projects. (Who has more things on the go than you?) It might be wise to pace yourself because this frenzied determination to take control at work (and also to improve your health) is not going to let up. Oh no! This pace is going to last for months. (Until autumn.) Fortunately, this week just gets sweeter, friendlier and more popular as the days go by. Friendships will be tender and touching. (Some will be so touching, they’ll need to get a room.) Do keep your eyes peeled because either a friend or a group will directly or indirectly inspire you to boost your earnings. (This is totally possible.) Probably an aspect of generosity is involved. Therefore, be generous and be willing to receive as well.

Taurus Apr 21 – May 21

Some of you might become involved romantically with your boss or someone older, richer or more experienced, while others will have a distant, far-off crush on someone like this. (Sigh.) Actually, a private crush can be quite a thrill. In addition, many of you will be asked to give your creative or artistic input on something. The powers that be want you to make something look more attractive. Say yes! Accept this challenge because you can do this. Who has a better appreciation of beauty than you? Whether it is art, food, drink, antiques, homes, land – you grok quality. You’re not snobbish about what you appreciate, you just like the best.

Gemini May 22 – Jun 21

A lovely week! Your appreciation of beauty is definitely heightened, even more so as the week wears on. Therefore, give yourself a chance to enjoy beautiful places and beautiful things. Forget the leather bars – visit museums, art galleries, parks, university campuses, and gorgeous, architectural buildings. In the same vein (different arm), you’ll enjoy beautiful ideas and delight in intellectual banter about philosophy, religion and politics. (Smarty-pants Gemini.) Some of you will strike up a new romance with someone from another country or a different culture. And lucky Geminis will be travelling for pleasure – the very best! (“Can I peel you another grape?”)

Cancer Jun 22 – Jul 22

This is an interesting week in terms of finances, shared resources, gifts, inheritances, and how you are handling shared property or even shared responsibilities with others. After the dust settles, by the end of the week, you should be coming out ahead. Yay! It appears that someone is sympathetic to your needs (although in some cases this will be reversed). This means gifts, goodies and favours are very likely to come your way. For others, this same astrological influence will sweeten sex in a charming, affectionate way. (Gosh.) Yes, we’re talking serious cuddles here. (Teddy ‘bare’ appeal?) All in all, you stand to benefit from someone else’s generosity. Sounds good to me.

Leo Jul 23 – Aug 23

Relations with partners and close friends as well as relations with members of the general public will be unusually warm and gratifying this week. For many, this expression of affection will solidify things in the future in terms of expectations and commitment. (Oh my.) People in authority, especially people from other countries or from afar, might offer their endorsement of a relationship or close friendship you have. Travel plans with someone close (partner or close friend) might be hatched this week as well. If so, this will most certainly be travel for pleasure and, for some, a cruise. (Neptune is in the picture.) It’s a lovely, popular week for you!

Virgo Aug 24 – Sep 23

Your sign is having all the fun vibes right now. (Mom always liked you best.) Romance, love affairs, vacations, the Arts, sports and playful activities with children are just some of the ways you are enjoying yourself. And you are enjoying yourself! The only downside is, do remember that while Mars is in your sign, you are coming on pretty strong! (Be nice to the little people.) Something very gratifying connected to your job will materialize this week. It could be a warm friendship or romance with a co-worker; it could be a new job; it could be an opportunity to do volunteer work for those who need your help. Whatever happens will please you.

Libra Sep 24 – Oct 23

This is truly a romantic week for you! It might not start out that way but it certainly ends with some star-studded moments. New romance and love will stir some of you, no question. Others will reignite existing relationships. (Sexy lingerie is amazing, isn’t it?) Artists will be particularly productive and imaginative. In fact, all the arts will flourish beautifully, especially by Friday. Sports and activities with children will elicit admiration, idealization and sympathy from some. This is a lovely week to be on vacation. Maybe you can fake a mini-vacation? Even a weekend or a one-day journey could be a jaunt that is fun for you and friends.)

Scorpio Oct 24 – Nov 22

Many events related to home, family and your domestic world gladden your heart this week, especially later in the week. Yes, you can have a puppy. Family relationships will be warm and tender and mutually caring. Some of you will feel this delightful feeling because you are introducing something beautiful to your home, perhaps a new purchase, or a new design or decorating idea. Whatever the source, you will enjoy and delight in your family and your home as this week wears on. You might admire someone in the family who shows compassion to others. The rotten apple in the barrel has a reverse manifestation: One angel in the home can make a huge difference!

Sagittarius Nov 23 – Dec 22

This can be a profitable week for writers, editors, teachers, actors, salespeople or anyone who wants to promote an idea. As this week progresses, your imagination will be increasingly heightened and your way with words will become stunningly diplomatic. Relations with siblings and neighbours will be warm and mutually beneficial. A new romance could spark from a casual daily encounter. Pay attention to your ideas about solidifying long-term goals. Your happy thoughts and conversations with others can give you a real practical outcome if you apply your new ideas to your goals. Talk about this with others, especially older or more experienced people.

Capricorn Dec 23 – Jan 20

This is an interesting financial week for you. In one way, some of you might be quite extravagant. (Many of you love designer labels.) You will certainly be tempted, especially late in the week, to buy something elegant and impossibly gorgeous. Fortunately, some of you will see new ways of earning money that might be related to high fashion, luxury, shoes, or anything to do with the ocean, pharmaceuticals, gas, oil and paint. In fact, the hospitality industry and sports could be part of how you might boost your income as well. Some will use their money and wealth in a charitable way. Good! What goes around comes around.
