The story follows a young girl named Clara, who receives a Nutcracker from her godfather. That night, she embarks on an adventure as her Nutcracker comes to life, taking her to a world filled with characters like the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Mouse King.

Nutcracker is Dance Victoria’s largest-scale presentation, featuring 27 dancers from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, 45 musicians from the Victoria Symphony, 56 young local dancers, and 35 crew members per show. Before each performance, ticket holders can join Dance Victoria’s Sugar Plum Party with family-friendly activities and photo opportunities.

Show times for Nutcracker are at 7 p.m. on Nov. 29, Nov. 30, and Dec. 1, with additional 1 p.m. matinees on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. Tickets are available at rmts.bc.ca/tickets-events/box-office-information
