Wild about whisky in Victoria!

The Victoria Whisky Festival sells out quickly for the Jan. 16-19 event

From Scotch and Irish, to single malt and blend, to bourbon and rye, whisky lovers will find it all when the Victoria Whisky Festival returns for a 15th year Jan. 16-19 at the Hotel Grand Pacific.

This highly popular event, which sold out quickly, features workshops galore through the weekend. They’ll give connoisseurs a chance to not only sip and savour some of the best imported and domestic whiskies available, but to learn more about the distilling process and what distilleries do to make their products unique.

As a celebration of its 15th year, the Festival partnered with Morrison & MacKay and the Strath Liquor Store to offer an exclusive 2020 Victoria Whisky Festival Old Perth Blended Malt Whisky. There are only 174 bottles available so don’t miss out! Email whisky@strathliquor.com to inquire whether stock remains available.

Buoyed by the continued success of this event, festival organizers make it a point to give back to the community, with support given to organizations ranging from Victoria Hospice and Kidsport to the B.C. Kidney Foundation, Wounded Warriors Canada and more. Read about the upcoming weekend’s activities at victoriawhiskyfestival.com.
