Lorraine Nygaard is releasing a 10-track CD Saturday at Hermann's Jazz Club.

Local jazz chanteuse Lorraine Nygaard put her voice on hold for a couple of decades, but now she’s back and is releasing a CD of 10 tracks featuring pianist Misha Piatigorsky, bassist Ken Lister, and drummer Kelby MacNayr, Sat. Jan. 28 at Hermann’s Jazz Club at 8 p.m. She’ll be accompanied by George McFetridge (piano), Joey Smith (bass) and Don Leppard (drums). Nygaard has planned a special tribute for drummer Josh Dixon who recently passed away. M
