Motown magic coming to the Royal Theatre

Jan. 17 show features tribute acts representing the Four Tops, Temptations, Supremes and more

Music fans who love the sounds and on-stage performance of such groups as The Supremes, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Jackson 5 and Martha and the Vandellas, and solo artists Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and more will be in their glory as the Legends of Motown hit the stage on Jan 17 at the Royal Theatre.

This 16-piece cast of singers and musicians perform look-a-like/sound-a-like tributes to these popular groups from the Motown era, complete with the songs, vocal arrangements and dazzling choreography fans came to know and love.

With authentic costumes, stunning vocal performances and a fabulous live band, this high-energy show features some of the most timeless music of the past generation.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m., Friday Jan. 17. Tickets, starting at $54.50, are available online at rmts.bc.ca, by phone at 250-386-6121 or in person at the Royal Theatre box office.
