'Ohmigod You Guys' it is time for a 'Serious' good time as the Cowichan Musical Society kicks off the month of Cupid with more fabulous fun, memorable songs, and dynamic dances in Legally Blonde: The Musical. With performances on Feb. 1, 7, and 8 at 7:30 p.m., as well as two 2 p.m. matinees on Feb. 2, and 9, this production based on the film will give audience members a lot to fall in love with.
After having her life turned upside down when dumped by her boyfriend Warner, determined to follow him to Harvard Elle Woods tackles stereotypes and scandal in the pursuit of her dreams. After charming her way into the prestigious school where she struggles with her ex, professor, and peers she quickly realizes her own potential and sets out to prove it to the world. On Feb. 24, film buffs get the real deal on entertainment as Reel Alternatives present the award-winning movie Conclave at 7 p.m. starring Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, Isabella Rossellini, and John Lithgow. This Golden Globe winner for Best Screenplay tells the story of Cardinal Lawrence, who is tasked with one of the world’s most secretive and ancient events, participating in the selection of a new pope. Finding himself surrounded by powerful religious leaders in the halls of the Vatican, he soon uncovers a trail of deep secrets that could shake the very foundation of the Roman Catholic Church.

On Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m., let the driving force to end the month on the right foot be seeing Ballet Edmonton present their MOMENTUM Tour.
Through this one night event they offer audiences an array of original, inspired contemporary dance that reflects unique narratives of the artists whose creators they help bring to life, said a press release for the show.
