If heaven is a place on earth, then apple heaven is Salt Spring Island— where more than 350 varieties of pomaceous fruit are grown organically. On Sunday, Oct. 2, begin your tour at Fulford Hall where an overwhelming number of apples will be on display, then head out and explore the 16 apple farms which are open to the public on this special day.
