Check out some of the world’s best freeride mountain bike riders as they compete for bragging rights and cash prizes at The Zone @91.3’s Jumpship, June 10-12 in Victoria’s Inner Harbour.
With a course designed by world famous rider and course builder Jordie Lunn, riders will be facing massive jumps,drops and park features — all while floating on a barge in the Inner Harbour.
Highlights include the Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour qualifying rounds Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m., followed by the best-trick contest jam from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday’s include the FMB World Tour finals from 2 to 5 p.m., with a podium ceremony to follow.
There will be live bike trials throughout the whole weekend, as well as live music and beer gardens by Vancouver Island Brewing.
Riders include Ross Measures, Casey Groves, Graham Agassiz, Eric Lawrenuk, Tyler McCaul, Jarret Moore, Kurt Sorge, Mike Montgomery, Geoff Gulevich and Jamie Goldman.
Events kick off Friday at 2 p.m. and run until 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sun-day’s events start at 11 a.m. and run into the evening. All events are free to attend.
