This year with mark the 119th year of the Island Farms Victoria Day Parade.

As one of North America's largest parades, this years parade commemorating Canada's 150th Birthday will featured Canadian and American marching and pipe bands, performing artists, an array of colorful community and commercial floats, multi cultural entertainment, all kicking off at 9 a.m. at Douglas and Finlayson Street.

This year, in partnership with Roll. Focus. Productions and Chek TV the parade will be live streaming for the first time from right across at City Hall. Please note there will be no broadcasting at the Times Colonist building this year.

Come down early, grab a bite to eat and enjoy our pre parade entertainment starting at 8 a.m. (shhhh that part is a surprise on Douglas Street at City Hall) but head on over to Centennial Square where we are hosting our First Spirit Celebration Square. Food trucks, bouncy castles, entertainment, face painting, balloons and a Canadian Craft Tablethe Square runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
